Eddie and Janice Halliday have 30+ years of experience in the hospitality and quick service industry.  After meeting in college, they moved to Greenwood, Indiana in 1982 to operate their first Chick-fil-A restaurant. In 1985, they returned to Tennessee to operate/franchise a new Chick-fil-A in West Town Mall. They also operated Chick-fil-A double drive thru at 7063 Kingston Pike and First Tennessee Plaza Tower location. Today the Halliday’s still operate the West Town Mall location as well as sister locations West Hills and Homberg Drive.

Eddie has a real passion for developing people and helping them reach their potential.  He has developed tools for his organization for training and leadership with the application of family, work and community. Eddie is certified in food safety and insists on the highest standards for Chick-fil-A product quality and taste.

Both Eddie and Janice have partnered with local schools and charitable organizations like Mission of Hope, FCA Knoxville, and others, while investing in their restaurant community with events like daughter-daddy date nights.

They support and enjoy local high school and UT athletics.  They cherish faith and family with two children, both raised in Knoxville.  Eddie and Janice’s daughter practices dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky, where her husband is a Chick-fil-A operator. Their son who played college football and has an economics degree from Yale, is also now a Chick-fil-A operator in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Always appreciating a challenge one might find Eddie, when not working at his stores, playing competitive tennis. Janice enjoys hospitality and organizational assistance while using her creativity also as a licensed residential General Contractor.

Their goal at Chick-fil-A: “to enrich the lives of the community by connecting great people, great food and remarkable experiences.”
